Urbanization
|
Urbanization is a silent protest against the building of the four new
houses on the other side of the street. The castles are made out of
the heads of the piles for the foundation of the houses. Their
shapes (a heptangular castle, nine battlements on another) and their
number (five) point at the (unpair) house numbers on the other side
of the road. The titel of the object refers to the tread to fill
empty, flat Waterland with housing, for which the four new houses
could be the forerunners.
